Registration in the labor department of migrant workers returning from non-states and non-districts has been constituted at the tehsil level. Labor registration has been done for 329 workers from Uttarakhand and 422 from Haryana and 152 workers in Najibabad in Bijnor.
In the second phase of lockdown, the process of return of migrant workers working in non-states and non-districts started. First 422 workers arrived in Bijnor riding in roadways buses. On Saturday, 329 workers came from Uttarakhand to Bijnor by roadways buses. After getting all these workers checked with a thermal screener at the roadways bus stand, registration in their labor department was completed.
152 Registration of laborers.
Najibabad: 152 workers from Ambala, Yamunanagar, Jagadhri etc. areas of Haryana State were quarantined at the Quarantine Center at NIIT, Najibabad. On Sunday, SDM Sangeeta reached the quarantine center to know the condition of the workers. On the instructions of SDM, Labor Officer Arvad Dhiman started the registration of all 152 workers in the center campus. A camp is being organized in the Bijnor campus of Roadways Depot for registration of workers. Workers are also being given the benefit of the scheme and a seven-day ration kit.
Registration in the labor department of migrant workers returning from non-states and non-districts will be formed at the tehsil level, as well as camps will be set up at the concerned roadways bus stand.
